Documentary exhibition

Documentary exhibition in detail introduces the life and Petrus Brovka's creative path, with the spectacular scenery of the places where he was born and visited. Among the exhibits, there are manuscripts and autographs of Petrus Brovka, his family, friends and contemporaries, typewritten versions of books, letters and postcards, musical manuscripts of the poet's words. The exhibition is divided into sections:


1.    "Childhood great times..." (1905-1917): Hometown of the poet and his family, Putilkovichi.


2.    "Thus began the youth" (1918-1940): Work in the editorial "Red Polotsk" newspaper, newspapers and magazines, which published poems of the poet, literary environment of Petrus Brovka. Rare exhibits of this period are the photos of the poet, the diploma of Belarusian State University graduation, a membership card, received by Petrus Brovka from the Writers' Union in 1934.


3.    "We will sow the seeds, Belarusians!" (1941-1945): Activity of Petrus Brovka during the Great Patriotic War. Emblematic exposition of this period includes the photographs of the poet, his papers, letters to family and personal belongings. 


4.    "Reflections" (1946-1969): Photos of the poet in different parts of Europe, Asia, General Assembly session in New York, in the United Nations with creators of other national literatures with their compatriots on Ushachy Region, with his family.


5.    "I'll tell you..." (1970): Proceedings of the Belarusian Soviet Encyclopedia, books with dedications, souvenirs given to the poet when he was traveling abroad.
